About Me

Art is important to me, always has been, I see it in nature and hear it around me.

There was a time in my life where I couldn't express myself, I fell into a deep depression and married young to a man who wasn't, shall we say, the nicest and became a mother at 22 years of age.

Through the years I've struggled with my identity, seeing myself as much larger than is reality and not worthy of affection and patience. It wasn't until I divorced and moved home to Iceland that I could finally start to heal and in healing find art again.

This year, 2021, I had surgery on my elbow. The bone in my elbow broke after a particularly gruesome incident involving my ex-husband and a garage floor back in 2012 and after said incident neither him nor his family drove me to the hospital nor called an ambulance for me, so the break healed and the large chunk of bone floated loose in my elbow.

Now I'm in recovery and moving towards a happier future. I'm in school to become an Art teacher and working with a team to get my mental health in tip-top shape.

The arts runs in my family, from song writing to sculpting and anywhere in between. I'm proud to be apart of this artistic tradition and hope I can inspire my own children and family to take part as well.
